Music Therapist

Clare Maddocks

Clare Maddocks completed her MA in Music Therapy at the University of the West of England in October 2018. She recently completed a specialist course in neurologic music therapy also. She has experience of working with children with additional support needs and neurodevelopmental conditions, adolescents with emotional and mental health difficulties, as well as adults with neurological conditions and/or learning difficulties. Clare currently works as a freelance music therapist for MusicPlace, MusAbility and Chroma, providing group and individual music therapy throughout the North West.

Speech and Language Therapist,

Sarah

Sarah is an Advanced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, she is also a Registered Intermediary, which means she supports people with communication difficulties in the court system. Sarah has done lots of different work as an SLT, from assessment to therapy. Sarah also juggles being a mum and a brilliant friend to many! 

Occupational Therapist

Jessica Nurney

Jessica Nurney is the Merseyside Team Lead at Shine Therapy Services. She is an Occupational Therapist and gained her BSc in Occupational Therapy from Sheffield Hallam University in 2015. Since then she has worked within the NHS and Private Sector, refining her specialism from generalised paediatrics to sensory processing and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH). Jessica has experience within special school, mainstream and SEMH school settings. She has completed Sensory Integration training through the Sensory Integration Network and also specialises in Dyspraxia (DCD) and attachment difficulties. Jessica is currently working on blending the practices of sensory integration and attachment theory.

Paula Beasley

Paula Beasley completed her PGCE at Edge Hill University in 2004 following a career in Logistics and Transport. She then went on to gain her City and Guilds qualification in Advice and Guidance in 2012. During the last 15 years she has provided career advice, guidance and support to young people and adults in a variety of educational settings including HE, FE, Training Providers and schools. Working in Alt Bridge School since September 2019 she is enjoying working with the pupils and helping them to consider their options for the future.
