Football Team

Alt Bridge School Key Stage 4 Football Team played their final league matches last week. The team worked hard and played well together to secure 2nd place overall in the league standings, earning each of them a commemorative runner-up medal. Congratulations!

The Story Barn

Our Year 7 students got to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities at ‘The Story Barn’ today. The students discussed poems, explored hidden treasures in ‘The Storybarn’ and unleashed their imagination by creating their own storyboards using crafts. The students then spent the afternoon exploring the stunning Calderstone’s Park. We hope to visit again soon.

Secret Garden

  We were delighted to welcome M and M Productions on Wednesday. Our KS3 pupils thoroughly enjoyed Frances Hodgson Burnett’s ‘Secret Garden’ performed by the fantastic cast. We look forward to welcoming the team back soon.

Food Bank

Children dropping food off at Knowsley Food Bank as part of our Christmas Jumper Day. As part of our Christrmas celebrations the children wore Christmas Jumpers and donated food to the local Food Bank.This will be used to help people who find Christmas a difficult time.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack and the Beanstalk Year 7 had a great time at the Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime (Oh yes they did!). Thank you to Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park for hosting a great show. Next stop: our very own Pantomime. ‘Pandemonium’ here we come!

Odd Socks Day

Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week The theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2018 is: ‘Choose Respect’ and Anti-Bullying. We held an Odd Socks Day on 16th November 2018.

Uganda

Mr McNamara is due to travel to Uganda in half term to offer support to those in need. 7.1 were keen to offer their support and created chocolate bouquets to be raffled. They managed to raise over £80. Well done to everyone involved and good luck Mr McNamara.
