The Breakfast Club at Alt Bridge
All pupils are encouraged to enjoy a healthy breakfast at the Alt Bridge Breakfast Club. The breakfast Club is supervised/organised by 2/3 members of staff per day and commences at 8.30 a.m.– 8.55 a.m.
We have for the first time this year, been awarded a grant from National School Breakfast Programme [Magic Breakfast] for free cereals and bagels from Sept 2018 – July 2019. Therefore pupils will be able to have their breakfast for no cost to the parents. Drinks hot/cold will be provided at 10p.
Benefits of Attending the Breakfast Club
- Pupils relax and chill with their friends before the start of the school day. We feel that the time that children spend with one another within breakfast clubs to be conducive to children’s relationship development:
- The breakfast club involve caters to children of various ages across the school, thus allowing children to spend time with peers that they might otherwise be unable to spend time with.
- We feel that pupils can’t have good learning if they are not ready to learn!
