Mr McNamara is due to travel to Uganda in half term to offer support to those in need. 7.1 were keen to offer their support and created chocolate bouquets to be raffled. They managed to raise over £80. Well done to everyone involved and good luck Mr McNamara.

We celebrated our love of storytelling with the award winning storyteller laureate, Taffy Thomas (MBE), on Tuesday 10th July. Taffy has almost 300 magical stories and was happy to share some of our favourites with us. Students, staff and parents thoroughly enjoyed the event and cannot wait until Taffy returns with more magical tales.
Congratulations to our fantastic Year 9 pupils, they created a terrifying movie trailer for the LitFilmFest Competition. This involved many different aspects including, writing, acting, filming, and editing, all of which they excelled at. We are so excited to share the finished product, fingers crossed we get to the next stage.
